AI Software Engineer - Intern

Job Details: Job Description: We are currently hiring AI Software Interns for the Intel CAIGC team in Shanghai. CAIGC is a vibrant and energetic team filled with talent. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn new things, embrace challenges, and demonstrate strong teamwork. . Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• AI Technology Research and Validation: Conduct research on emerging AI technologies (e.g., model quantization, graph structure transformation), and deploy and optimize proof-of-concept (PoC) projects on Intel platforms.
• Large Language Model (LLM) Performance Evaluation and Tool Development: Perform performance testing on the latest LLMs on Intel platforms and develop functional modules for testing tools.
• Performance Analysis and System Optimization: Analyze performance test results, identify software bottlenecks (e.g., operator latency, memory usage), and propose optimization strategies to improve inference speed and resource efficiency. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python or C/C++
• Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers
• Experience with large language models and generative AI, with the ability and willingness to learn quickly
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
